From 15 to 17 October 2026, Barcelona hosted the 2026 edition of ENDOFACE Masters Barcelona, the international course in endoscopic facial surgery founded and directed by Dr. Artur Díaz Carandell, Facial Surgeon. Forty surgeons from twenty countries took part in three days of intensive training dedicated to the endoscopic technique.

A programme across three venues
Lectures
Lectures on anatomy and endoscopic technique took place in the Sala Pau Gil at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site (Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau).
Live surgery
Participants followed live surgical procedures performed at Clínica Sagrada Família.
Anatomy lab
The final day was devoted entirely to hands-on practice in the dissection room of the University of Barcelona’s Bellvitge campus, where each participant worked through the endoscopic approaches under the direct supervision of the faculty.

The faculty
The course was taught by an international faculty: Dr. Artur Díaz Carandell (director), Dr. Gad Renert (co-director), Dr. Marc Mani, Dr. Fayçal El Kouhen and Dr. Mubariz Mammadli.

ISEFS is born: the International Society of Endoscopic Facial Surgery
At the gala dinner on 16 October, ISEFS (International Society of Endoscopic Facial Surgery) was presented: an international scientific society, constituted in Switzerland, to promote training, research and standards in endoscopic facial surgery.
The five faculty members are its founders: Dr. Marc Mani, Dr. Gad Renert, Dr. Artur Díaz Carandell, Dr. Fayçal El Kouhen and Dr. Mubariz Mammadli. Dr. Marc Mani is its first president. ENDOFACE Masters Barcelona 2026 thus becomes the society’s founding event. Learn more at www.isefs.org.
