Travelling to Barcelona for Your Endoscopic Facelift
If you live outside Barcelona, this guide explains how to plan your trip for an endoscopic deep plane facelift with Dr. Artur Díaz Carandell, step by step.
1. Before you travel
Start with a free video consultation with Dr. Carandell, in English, French, Spanish or Catalan. If you would like an exhaustive analysis of your case before deciding, you can book the Advanced Structural Facial Assessment (€300): you upload your photos through our secure patient portal and receive your written treatment plan within two weeks of payment.
2. Choosing your dates
Plan your stay around the flight guidance: short flights are possible one week after surgery, and long-haul flights after two weeks. Your exact dates are agreed with our team.
3. Arrival and stay
The optional concierge service (€1,600) includes meet & greet on arrival, management of your hotel booking and airport transfers with a private chauffeur. Transfers included; hotel not included.
4. Private flight

5. Surgery and the first days
The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia at Clínica Sagrada Família. No drains are used. You stay in the clinic for one or two nights. At 48 hours the hemostatic net is removed and you can wash your hair. Read the full recovery timeline.
6. Back home
Follow-up continues in person and online. Most patients return to work between two and three weeks after surgery.
